The first Native American saint of North America, St. Kateri embraced the Catholic faith despite intense opposition. Known for her purity, prayer, and devotion to Christ, she lived a life of quiet holiness and sacrifice. She remains a powerful example of perseverance and trust in God.
🗓 Wednesday, July 15 – St. Bonaventure, Bishop and Doctor of the Church
A Franciscan theologian and close friend of St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Bonaventure united profound learning with deep humility. His writings drew souls toward God through both reason and contemplation. The Church honors him as the "Seraphic Doctor" for his burning love of God.

This memorial honors the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, long associated with the Carmelite Order. After a dramatic conversion, St. Camillus devoted his life to caring for the sick, especially those abandoned during times of plague and war. He founded the Ministers of the Sick, whose members became known for their heroic charity. Today he is honored as the patron saint of hospitals, nurses, and the sick.
