According to ancient accounts, she suffered imprisonment and torture but remained unwavering in her confession of Christ. Her courage made her one of the most widely venerated virgin martyrs of the early Church.
🗓 Tuesday, February 17 – St. Alexis Falconieri (Servite Founder) One of the Seven Holy Founders, Alexis lived to be over 100 years old, persevering in prayer, service, and Marian devotion. Though born into privilege, he chose poverty and simplicity. His long life of hidden faithfulness shaped the early Servite community.

🗓 Thursday, February 19 – St. Conrad of Piacenza Originally a nobleman and soldier, Conrad renounced worldly life after a dramatic conversion and lived as a Franciscan hermit in Sicily. Known for penance, prayer, and charity to the poor, he embraced solitude while serving those in need.
🗓 Friday, February 20 – St. Leo of Catania, Bishop A bishop of Catania in Sicily during the 8th century, Leo was known for pastoral zeal, miracles, and steadfast defense of the faith. Tradition recalls his opposition to sorcery and pagan practices that threatened Christian life in the region. His leadership strengthened the Church in a time of spiritual confusion.
🗓 Saturday, February 21 – St. Peter Damian, Bishop & Doctor of the Church A Benedictine monk, reformer, and cardinal of the 11th century, Peter Damian worked tirelessly to renew clerical life and strengthen Church discipline. A scholar and ascetic, he united deep prayer with bold reform. His writings and leadership helped purify and stabilize the Church in a difficult era.
